Stefano Arno Blumauer, a Swiss artist living and painting in Yverdon for the past five years, has transitioned from art brut, inspired notably by Jean-Michel Basquiat, to a bold and modern abstract style. His works are distinguished by an expressive use of colors, designed to captivate and soothe the viewer’s soul. Soon, his unique artistic universe will be showcased in January 2025 at the Centre Culturel Hessel in Orbe and in February 2025 at Citrons Masqués in Yverdon.

Hello I am Eva Maria Espejo aka Eva Mirror, a Visual Artist and Designer based since 2014 in Switzerland. I am born in Barcelona and then lived in several places as Madrid, Sevilla, Brighton, Buenos Aires, Torino and Berlin, first started to study Sociology interested in art, cultures and ethnology but soon I saw the desire of creation by means of investigation.
My paintings and Illustration are mostly animals and portraits, I listened once that my works are a mix between Pop, Surrealism, Naive Art, Psychedelic, Magic realism and Avant-garde. As Digital Artist I am working since 2010 and as Graphic Design I made experience in Editorial, Magazines and Illustration. I’ve taught Art for Primary and Secondary school as complementary activity using personal tools for the creative own knowledge and development as therapy or simply as way to start learning arts.

"Im Schatten unserer Selbst"
Julia Roman setzt sich in ihrer aktuellen Arbeit mit Schatten als Symbol und Metapher, abstrakt und konkret auseinander. Schatten sind omnipräsent, entziehen sich jedoch oft unserer Wahrnehmung, da sie im alltäglichen Tumult unserer Aufmerksamkeit entkommen.
In dieser Ausstellung wird ein grosser Schatten direkt auf das Schaufenster gemalt. Durch die Transparenz des Glases wird dieser aus neuen Perspektiven erfahrbar: Er kann sowohl von innen als auch von aussen betrachtet werden. Dies ist ein Versuch, den flüchtigen Moment festzuhalten und zu verlangsamen, um seine Vergänglichkeit erlebbar zu machen.
Die Ausstellung regt gleichzeitig zur Selbstreflexion an: Besucher*innen können sich mit dem Symbol des Schattens in ihrem eigenen Leben und der Vergänglichkeit auseinandersetzen. Welche Schatten begleiten uns? Was nehmen wir wahr – und was bleibt im Verborgenen?
Julia Roman ist selbstständige Grafikerin und Künstlerin, die sich zwischen St.Gallen und Wien bewegt.

SKIES ist ein rauschender Fluss an Bildern und Klängen, ohne Anfang und ohne Ende. Die begehbare Videoinstallation nimmt die Besucher:innen mit auf eine Reise durch vertraute Umgebungen, die zu fernen Galaxien werden. Der 30-minütige Loop wird im Liegen betrachtet – inmitten einer Klangkomposition, die sich über sechzehn Kanäle zu einem dreidimensionalen akustischen Raum entfaltet.

ANALOGIQUE NUMÉRIQUE
ANALOG <-> DIGITAL est une performance de théâtre de mouvement qui joue avec notre obéissance à la réalité numérique, notre addiction à l'écran et notre nostalgie de l'analogique. ANALOG <-> DIGITAL et son univers élargi feront partie en février et mars 2025 de l'exposition RENAISSANCE 2.0 à Commun (Genève, CH).
Dans ce monde déséquilibré entre le chaos et le calme, une chorégraphie composée d'objets numériques et analogiques émerge : les livres sont brûlés tandis que les e-readers se développent, les vinyles forment la nouvelle piste de danse et les polaroïds nos seules archives. Les sons analogiques et numériques s'affrontent dans un paysage sonore immersif. Une scénographie entre pixels et objets crée un espace temporaire où les micro-mouvements des performeurs deviennent visibles : une toupie qui continue de tourner dans une paume, un œil aveuglé par le reflet d'un écran. Inspirés par nos désirs contradictoires, en équilibre éternel entre l'analogique et le numérique, les performeurs emmènent le public dans un paysage chorégraphique délirant, un voyage qui se termine par un clin d'œil.
K&A est un duo pluridisciplinaire basé à Genève, formé par Karla Isidorou & Alexandra Bellon, qui mêle leurs différents parcours et leurs racines culturelles complexes. Depuis 2017, elles diffusent des concepts poétiques et politiques. Leur travail fluctue entre des combinaisons variables de latitudes et longitudes : les territoires urbains et ruraux, apparaissent et disparaissent, ses écosystèmes magnétisent leur pratique artistique. K&A crée les outils qui permettent de brouiller la distance entre les deux, d’habiter le vide. Les concepts de leurs projets naissent de longues périodes de recherche: torrents de livres, images vagabondes, sons grinçants, écrits déserteurs, actions performatives, contextes poétiques et socio-politiques qui se rassemblent pour créer un environnement spécifique dans lequel se forme chaque projet. Malgré la multiplicité des performances/vidéos/visuels, K&A travaille pour l’avenir depuis toujours, en créant des collisions & rencontres entre les personnes, les environnements, les pensées…

Eine heiter - ernste Design-Betrachtung verschiedenster Alltagsgegenstände in Tierform. DesignerInnen interessieren sich nicht nur für die technischen Raffinessen von Produkten. Neben den sogenannten funktional-technischen Aspekten haben allgemein kulturelle bzw. kommunikative Aspekte im Design eine wichtige Funktion. Designobjekte in Tierform haben eine weit in die Vergangenheit reichende Geschichte. Auch die Moderne konnte dem Wunsch nach emotionaler Zeichensetzung in Form von Tieren wenig anhaben. So finden sich in unzähligen Alltagsobjekten direkte oder indirekte, abstrahierte oder kitschige Tierformen.
Und weil wir Menschen zu einer symbolischen Wahrnehmung neigen, sehen wir in vielen Gegenständen mehr als nur einen Gegenstand, so in unserem Fall z.B. Tiere auch dort wo nie einE DesignerIn an die Darstellung eines Tieres gedacht hat.
